PENINSULA FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION ANNUAL PRIME RIB DINNER MEETING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14th at Firehouse #2
Social Hour, 6pm -7pm, with dinner beginning at 7pm.
Members and their spouses, significant others or guests are invited to this special holiday dinner. So that we may know how much prime rib to order, DINNER TICKETS WILL BE SOLD IN ADVANCE at our normal price of $10 per dinner. They are on sale starting today at Firehouse #2. Please purchase your tickets no later than Monday, December 6th. We look forward to a great meal and fun evening with all of you who are still around.

The Fire Sirens’ annual Christmas Luncheon is fast approaching. The luncheon will be held at Fire Hall #2 on Wednesday, December 1st at 11:30 am. Luncheon by Carol Franchetti
Christmas Eve Salad with mandarin oranges, beets, dry roasted peanuts in a tangy vinaigrette garnished with pomegranate seeds.
Luncheon Entree – Cup cake chicken – chicken breast with cheese, wild rice medley, slivered almonds, baked in the oven and topped with a “frosting” of herb cheese.
Dessert – Apple kuchen with bourbon raisins and cinnamon whipped cream. Bread, Coffee & Tea.
Tickets are $15.00 per person (non refundable). Call Peggy Lentz - 259-5478 or Holly Coons 259-2306 (Monday thru Friday) 9:00 – 5:00. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, November 26th. Guests are welcome so if you are not a Fire Siren but would like to come contact Holly or Peggy for tickets.
We will again have our gift exchange. If you want to participate please bring a $10 wrapped gift to put under the Christmas tree.
We are also doing our toy and food drive so bring along some of that too! Hope to see you there.

The outlook is for one final round of snow tonight (Monday night) into Tuesday AM, and then clearing conditions. With the clearing will come some REALLY cold air. Snow report:
Bailey Creek received 24 to 30 inches of snow over the weekend. Another storm is forecast for tonight into Tuesday morning. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are forecast to be clear with very low temperatures at night. More rain/snow showers are expected for the weekend. If you are planning to come up for Thanksgiving, be aware that snow berms may be 4 feet high across your driveway.
